Personally, I think that going green helps reduce the amount of pollution we are emitting everyday. I know from experience that buying energy saving appliance, i.e. my fridge and air conditioners, it cut down on my electric bill tremendously. In addition, I thought that those corkscrew light bulbs were just for show, but they really do reduce the amount of energy your house consumes as well.
So… to answer your question, going green is a little pricey, but well worth the rewards in the long run.

we dont even need fossil fuel, we can run almost anything on electricity now.
we have those smarter ways of powering vehicles but we dont use them because the people who own the oil make the most money.
